The service

Noviscene lets you plan a short film from your story and photos and have it generated with AI. Planning is free; generating the script, images and video is paid in coins.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. You are responsible for the security of your sign-in method.

Coins and payments

• Coins are a prepaid internal unit used only to pay for generation within Noviscene. They are not money, cannot be transferred to other users and cannot be exchanged for money.
• Prices in coins are shown before each payment. A film is paid in two steps: the script and images, then the video.
• Coins are not refunded for money, except where the applicable law requires a refund.
• If a generation step fails on our side, we retry it free of charge or return the coins spent on that step.

Your content

You keep all rights to the text and photos you upload. You give us a limited licence to store and process them only to make your film and to provide the service.

You confirm that you have the right to use every photo you upload and the permission of every person shown in it, and that your content is lawful.

Your films

Subject to these terms and to the terms of the AI models used, you may use the finished film for personal and commercial purposes. Your films are private by default.

Gallery and advertising

For each finished film you may choose, separately, “Show in the Noviscene gallery” and “Allow use in Noviscene advertising”. If you do, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to show that film in the public gallery of our website (after our moderation) and/or to use it in our own advertising, until you withdraw the choice.

You confirm that every person shown in the film agrees to this, as set out in “Your content”. We may refuse to show a film, and may edit its title.

You can withdraw a choice at any time with one click in the studio. A withdrawn film is removed from the gallery within minutes (caches last at most 5 minutes) and is not used in new materials. Deleting the film from the server or closing your account withdraws both choices.

Acceptable use

You must not use Noviscene to create content that:

• depicts real people without their permission or in a misleading, sexual or degrading way;
• involves minors in any inappropriate context;
• is intended to deceive, impersonate, harass or defame anyone;
• infringes someone else’s rights or breaks the law.

AI output

Films are generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies or artefacts. You see the storyboard before paying for the video and can stop at that point.

Storage

Finished films are kept for 30 days and then deleted. Download a copy of any film you want to keep.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for coins in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

Changes, termination and contact

We may update these terms and will post the new version here. You can close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Questions: hello@noviscene.com.
